Queer It Yourself

July 21st – 23rd 2017

Deadline for workshops/presentation proposals is June 21st 2017

 

For the second year Groundswell Institute presents Queer It Yourself, our queer makers faire. This is a weekend for participants to explore their creativity in a more do-it-yourself manner and we’re looking for LGBTQ crafters and creators of all sorts to teach skillshares, lead a group project, or even just share their talents with the community. What are you feeling inspired to lead?

Workshop/activity topics may include, but are certainly not limited to:

  • Interactive art
  • Textile arts and crafts
  • LED art
  • Large scale installations
  • Homebrewing/fermentation
  • Body products
  • Woodworking
  • Clothing making

 

Please keep in mind that each workshop slot will be limited to two hours.
